Dr Jake Sloane
Facial aesthetics doctor, speaker and trainer, podcast host, app builder and dad

Born in London, UK, Dr Jake earned honours degrees in Anatomy (1999-2002) and Medicine (2002-2007) from the University of Manchester. He trained as a General Surgeon for over a decade and had extensive experience in colorectal, oncoplastic breast and vascular surgery. As an entrepreneur he also completed his first injectables course way back in 2008 and ran his own aesthetic business alongside his surgical training.
Since emigrating to Australia, Jake has left hospital medicine to dedicate his time and real passion to treating faces. He has the bold ambition to change how aesthetics is done globally and this formed the background to the genesis of IA Podcast and more recently, IA Community.
Dr Jake is an internationally-recognised thought leader, injector, speaker and teacher with over 18 years' experience. He is a global consultant for Allergan Aesthetics and most recently launched platysma Botox (USA) and the 'AA Signatures Lift UP' in Canada and South Africa. He has been formally mentored by Dr Mauricio De Maio.
He's built his clinical reputation on delivering beautifully natural results with a full face, multi-product approach. He strongly believes in teaching injectors how to assess, consult and understand the deeper motivations of the patient before they progress to technique. Dr Jake is also never shy to address controversial topics in aesthetics on both his social media and as a podium speaker.
Dr Jake is married with two young children and they have a very cute cat called Christmas.
David Segal

David has worked in aesthetics since 2007. He started by importing laser devices before co-founding the hugely successful Cosmos clinic, then became General Manager of Laser Clinics Australia, now the world's largest clinic chain.
In 2012 he co-founded The Cosmetic Institute (TCI), which became Australia's largest and fastest-growing cosmetic surgery brand. Over the following decade he owned four laser and skin clinics, employing more than 70 therapists and injectors at their peak.
In 2022 David sold his clinics to focus on mentoring clinic owners and injectors. He is passionate about the growing overlap between aesthetics and wellness, and is the author of "Skin: The Essential Australian Guide", published by Fairfax Media.
