About this episode
To celebrate our 200th episode, we were honoured to host Dr Arthur Swift, a plastic surgeon from Canada who has been at the forefront of injectables from the very beginning.
Arthur started injecting in the early 1990s, when there were no mentors or guidelines. Originally trained as a plastic surgeon, he quickly saw how transformative non-surgical treatments would be and taught himself. Over 30 years he has become one of the most revered thought leaders in injectables, lecturing on every continent and training tens of thousands of injectors.
We cover his journey from music to medicine, the early pioneer era, Da Vinci and the golden ratio, his research into measuring beauty and inventing his calipers, proportion over overfilling, systematic facial assessment, corporatisation and avoiding price wars, Swift Beauty Education, collagen stimulators, future technology, tear trough safety and products, temples, toxin longevity, ultrasound and cannulas.
