About this episode
Dr Lee Walker is a former dental surgeon from Liverpool and a highly respected global key opinion leader for Teoxane who has taught in over 30 countries. He leads and helps design Teoxane's education programme and is known for his easy-to-understand teaching and knowledge of facial anatomy.
We discuss the evidence (or lack of it) behind how injectors practise, starting with who should be allowed to inject and how competence should be demonstrated. We then tackle the myths, dogma and assumptions of the injectable world: whether there really was a global toxin failure after lockdown, the aspiration controversy, whether cannulas are really safer than needles, delayed-onset nodules, facial swelling after COVID-19 vaccination, and filler-associated blindness and what to do about it.
